Dr. J. Kwasniewski, the creator of optimal nutrition as a medical doctor of his time working in a military sanatorium, where he initially worked only treatment, and then assigned him a new job, was a nutritionist. And so began his path of feeding the people. Originally it consisted of calories, protein, carbohydrates, fats, until he learned the chemical composition of all products in memory, and came to the conclusion that nietędy road to proper nutrition.

Kwasniewski rejected the scientific authority and created their own model-based diets to determine the volume ratio between the three basic ingredients of foods: protein, fat and carbohydrates. The ratio of these components in optimal nutrition is 1:2,5-3,5:0,3-0,5 (B: T: W), whereas in rational nutrition recommended by the Food and Nutrition Institute in Poland, the ratio is 1:0 , 9:3,7.

Optimum Nutrition recommends eating properly matched for the type and construction of animal tissues. In other words, it is recommended that consumption of these tissues in the body that require renewal. For example: if you suffer from liver according to the canons of Optimal Nutrition should increase your intake of fried chicken livers, you have a sick joints, eat cartilage, fascia and tendons.????
